On April 20th, 2026 at approximately 06:00 P.M., the victim in this matter contacted officers of the Pocono Township Police Department, in regard to the theft of his cell phone. The victim advised that early that day, they lost it at the Weis in Tannersville. Security footage showed the phone being placed on a self-checkout kiosk, then picked up by the defendant in this matter, Raymond Gonzalez, of Stroudsburg. The phone was then tracked and located in a storm drain near the defendant's residence.

Charges for theft and tampering with evidence filed.
