On February 3, 2026, at approximately 2233 hours, the Pocono Township Police Department was dispatched to a report of a domestic disturbance at 158 Fantasy Drive in Henryville. Monroe County Control Center advised that a child could be heard screaming on the call and the child stated that their father was trying to kill their mother and that he has a gun. Officers arrived on scene and were able to safely remove the children from the residence and take the defendant, Galvin Dudley a 48-year-old male from Henryville, into custody. Further investigation discovered that Dudley assaulted the female victim and pointed a handgun at her after telling her that he would kill her. A firearm was located hidden in a bathroom that Dudley had entered on officers arrival. Dudley was subsequently placed into Monroe County Correctional Facility to await arraignment on charges of endangering the welfare of children, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and harassment.
