On December 22nd, 2025, at approximately 2224 hours, Officers with Pocono Township Police Department responded to the area of 2789 Route 611 for a motor vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the operator and defendant in this matter, Richard Custred SR who was involved in the accident and was showing signs of impairment.

Officers conducted an investigation and determined that Custred operated the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol which resulted in the motor vehicle accident.

Custred was taken into custody and transported to Monroe County Correctional Facility to be processed in regard to these charges.
