On June 27, 2023, at approximately 1402 hours, Pocono Township Police Department responded to the Turkey Hill in Tannersville for a welfare check.  The caller advised there was a female "nodding off" with three children inside the vehicle.  Upon arrival police contacted Jeanine Cleirbaut, a 32-year-old female from Stroudsburg, who had three juveniles in her custody.  Through the investigation it was found that Cleirbaut appeared to have been under the influence of controlled substances. A search of the vehicle was conducted, and an uncapped hypodermic needle along with various type of drug paraphernalia were located inside.  The children were later released to their father.  Charges pending.
