On April 18th, 2026 at 2048 hours, Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to an address on Laurel Lake RD for a male who was trespassing on the property and currently in the callers shed.

Officers arrived on scene and approached the shed before making contact with the defendant, Jonathan Acierno, who was hiding behind a shelf in the shed when he observed Police.

Officers gave the defendant several commands to exit the shed and he did not comply.

While attempting to take the defendant in to custody he began to resist arrests and did not comply with commands.

After a brief struggle,  the defendant was taken in to custody and transported to MCCF without further incident.
