On April 12, 2026 at approximately 1958 hours, Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to Great Wolf Lodge for a report of two children under the ages of 10 in the water park alone. Officers made contact with the mother, 26 year old Tykea Pighte of New York, New York. Pighte was in the parking lot in her vehicle while her children were in the water park alone. Pighte was charged with Endangering the Walfare of a Child and a warrant has been issued for her arrest.
