Older adults are increasingly being targeted by financial fraud, including impersonation scams, phishing emails, and other schemes designed to steal personal and financial information.
To help protect this vulnerable population from these online scams, the Pennsylvania Office of Homeland Security, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office, is hosting a virtual workshop on cybercrime prevention.
Designed for older adults, caregivers, family members, and anyone who supports seniors, this informative session will provide practical tips for recognizing online threats, protecting against financial scams, safeguarding personal information, and knowing what steps to take if you or a loved one becomes the victim of fraud.
