It was an honor to once again join members of our local law enforcement and Special Olympics Pennsylvania for the 2026 Williamsport Hometown Torch Run.

Beginning at Lycoming College, the run saw participants jog through the streets of Williamsport to the Davie Jane Gilmour Center while carrying the "Flame of Hope". At the run's conclusion, local Special Olympics athletes who are competing in this year's Summer Games were celebrated during a pep rally.
