🚨 COMMUNITY SAFETY REMINDER – TRESPASSING 🚨
The Hazleton City Police Department would like to remind everyone that trespassing is a crime and will not be tolerated.
If you are on private property without permission or refuse to leave when lawfully asked to do so, you could be charged with Criminal Trespass under Pennsylvania law.
⚠️ If you are caught trespassing, you may and will be charged to the fullest extent permitted by law.
👀 Just because you think an area isn't being watched doesn't mean it isn't. Many properties have security cameras, surveillance systems, or other means of monitoring activity. You may be seen even when you don't realize you're being observed.
Just like the male pictured below, who was observed trespassing, you never know when your actions are being captured on camera.
Please respect private property and the rights of property owners. Do not enter properties, buildings, yards, or other areas where you do not have permission to be.
If you see suspicious activity or someone trespassing on your property, contact the Hazleton City Police Department.
Respect property. Respect your community.
