The individual, Matthew Deutsch, had paid the rental fee up until July 2026, but attempts to contact him regarding payment or return of the equipment were unsuccessful.

On September 14, 2026, Deutsch was stopped by the Sugarloaf Police Department on an arrest warrant dated September 11, 2026. He was arraigned by District Magistrate Rick Cronauer in Wilkes-Barre on the listed charges. Bail was set at $7,500.00 unsecure.
