The Forty Fort Borough Civil Service Commission is accepting applications for the position of both full-time and part-time police officers.  To apply, you must have a diploma from an accredited high school or a GED, be a US Citizen, and be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of a police officer. Prior to receiving a conditional offer of employment, you must have reached your 20th birthday, possess a valid Pennsylvania motor vehicle operator’s license, and have completed Act 120 training and be eligible for MPOETC certification.

Applications are available at the Forty Fort Borough Building, 1271 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, PA 18704, Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM or online atwww.fortyfort.org.  The Forty Fort Civil Service rules are available for review online or at the borough building.  Applications must be returned no later than 2:30 PM on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, to the Borough Manager or Secretary.  A copy of DD214 must be included for Veteran’s Preference consideration.  Applicants will be notified of test dates for the written, oral and physical agility examinations.  The Borough of Forty Fort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
