Did you know that speeding and aggressive driving behaviors are among the leading causes of crashes and fatalities on Pennsylvania roadways?
Before you put the pedal to the metal, remember—speeding has serious consequences. Help keep yourself and others safe by obeying posted speed limits and adjusting your speed based on road conditions.
South Lebanon Township Police, in partnership with the Pennsylvania State Police and approximately 300 municipal agencies, will be conducting targeted aggressive driving enforcement now through April 26, 2026.
The goal of this initiative is to reduce aggressive driving-related crashes, injuries, and fatalities across the state. Drivers observed engaging in aggressive behavior will be stopped and cited.
Enforcement efforts will focus on:
• Speeding
• Distracted driving
• Work zone safety
Additional violations such as following too closely, driving too fast for conditions, and other unsafe behaviors will also be enforced.
This enforcement is part of Pennsylvania’s Highway Safety Program and is funded through PennDOT using federal funds from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
