On 09/07/2026, South Lebanon Township Police conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle fail to stop for a red traffic signal at South 5th Avenue and East Walnut Street.

The driver was identified as Joseph Pietrak. A check of his driving record determined that his operating privileges were suspended DUI-related and that he had multiple prior violations for driving while DUI suspended.

Pietrak was charged with Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked – DUI Related, Third or Subsequent Offense.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
