On January 29, 2026, Patrolman Behney attended a luncheon with Principal McGinty, a Cornwall-Lebanon School Resource Officer, and 1st graders at Union Canal Elementary School to celebrate their achievement with McDonald's cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets. 

A longstanding program at the school entitled the 3 "A's", students are recognized in their accomplishments of Attitude, Attendance, and Academic Performance and provided with the opportunity to talk with a police officer from our department while enjoying lunch.

Our Police Department wants to thank Principal McGinty for continuing this program as our officers always look forward to talking with the kids while keeping them safe!
