The Lebanon City Police Department is pleased to announce that Detective Ryan Mong has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant for the Criminal Division. Sgt. Mong has served the department for 21 years. His extensive experience, hard work, and dedication to the department have been invaluable. We are proud of his accomplishments and look forward to what he will continue to bring to our department in his new role.
We are also excited to welcome Patrolman Matthew Rothgaber. Officer Rothgaber graduated from the Harrisburg Area Community College Police Academy in 2016 and will now begin 18 weeks of field training with the Lebanon City Police Department.
In addition, we congratulate our new hire, Denver Meier, who will attend the Harrisburg Area Community College Police Academy on January 12, 2025, to complete his Act 120 training.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the James Biever Community Alliance for their continued support in helping send our new hires to the police academy. Their partnership is truly valued.
Please join us in Congratulating Sergeant Mong, Welcoming Officer Rothgaber, and Wishing the very best of luck to Denver Meier!
