As the holiday season approaches, the Lebanon City Police Department reminds residents and visitors that the use of prohibited fireworks within Lebanon City is illegal.

The Department will have an increased police presence throughout the city and will actively enforce Pennsylvania's fireworks laws and applicable local ordinances. Officers will respond to complaints and take appropriate enforcement action when violations are observed.

Fireworks that are prohibited by law present significant risks to public safety, including the potential for fires, injuries, and property damage. 

Residents are encouraged to celebrate responsibly and be considerate of their neighbors. If you observe the illegal use of prohibited fireworks, please report the activity through the appropriate non-emergency channels. In the event of an emergency or active fire, call 911 immediately.
