At 0638 hours on October 24th, 2023, officers with the Susquehanna Regional Police Department were dispatched to the area of 2420 River Road in Conoy Township for a report of a crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle.  Upon arriving, the driver of the vehicle involved was alert and responsive.  The rider of the motorcycle was found unconscious near the crash scene.  The rider was transported to Hershey Medical Center in critical condition to undergo emergency treatment.  The Northwest Lancaster County Crash Team was dispatched to the scene to continue the on-scene investigation.  The roadway was closed in both the northbound and southbound directions for several hours, opening up around 10:50am.  Anyone with any information about the crash can contact Detective Laurel Bair at (717) 426-1164 or BairL@srpd27.com.
