On 10/21/2020 At 0939hrs, SRPD officer received a aggravated assault complaint in the area of Musser Road and Donegal Springs Road in East Donegal Twp. It was reported that the victim reported that Thomas Smullen exited his vehicle and used a 18 ounce can of "Do it best" Wasp & Hornet Spray and sprayed the victim in the face continuously while the victim was attempting to exit his vehicle. The victim advised Smullen called him a racial slur approximately 12 times during the assault. Smullen was interviewed by SRPD Officer's and admitted to spraying the victim in the face. Smullen was arrested and arraigned and is free on bail. Smullen is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
