On November 1st, 2022 at 2130 hrs, SRPD officers responded to a domestic call at 5 West Market street in Marietta Borough. The Defendant, Jose Fran Rivera, was present and arrested after officers determined that he attacked his girlfriend with a box cutter knife causing lacerations to her arm that required immediate medical treatment. Jose was arrested and transported to the lancaster county prison, where he was arraigned and committed for aggravated assault. Rivera is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
