Officer Kirk Wolfe began his career as a Law Enforcement Specialist in the United States Air Force. During his time in Security Forces, Officer Wolfe served as a Counter push Drug Officer, SWAT Team Leader, Law Enforcement Flight Chief, Instructor at the Law Enforcement Academy and Security Forces Advisor to Base Commander during wartime operations. Officer Wolfe finished his career with the United States Air Force as a Commissioned Officer, where he retired as a Captain, serving as an Air Surveillance Officer on AWACS Aircraft.
After retiring from the Air Force, Officer Wolfe became a Police Officer with the Lancaster City Bureau of Police where he served in the Mounted Unit, Bike Unit, as a Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Officer and Instructor, Special Emergency Response Team (SERT) Negotiator and TEAM Officer with the School District of Lancaster.
After retiring from the Lancaster City Bureau of Police, Officer Wolfe came to work Part-Time for the Strasburg Borough Police Department (SBPD) and the New Holland Police Department and as Pastor of the Bridgeville Evangelical Congregational Church.
Officer Wolfe continues to serve as SBPD’s representative on the Lancaster County SERT Team as a Negotiator and as an Instructor for the Lancaster CIT Team.
Officer Wolfe and his wife Susan have five daughters, four sons-in-law and 10 grandchildren. He enjoys martial arts, karate, taekwondo, motorcycles, skiing, hunting, softball, reading, horseback riding, playing guitar and learning the Spanish language.
