Strasburg Boy Scout Troop #56 received a special event permit to conduct its semi-annual Flag Retirement Ceremony on Monday evening, November 9, 2015 from 6:30-9:00 p.m., to the rear of the Scout House, 109 South Jackson Street, Strasburg, around the firepit at the Borough Pond. The public is invited to attend this event, during which Scouts will demonstrate proper flag etiquette and respectful disposal of used/retired flags. Refreshments will be served after the event.
