The Strasburg Borough Police Department, along with other local departments, will be participating in the Bleed Blue Challenge hosted by Penn Medicine LGH Blood Donation Center in January and February. January is National Blood Donor Month, and this friendly competition between local departments is held in an effort to increase blood donations, which are desperately needed.

Please consider making a lifesaving blood donation at any LGH blood drive event or the LGH Blood Donation Center. While you are there, make sure to mention you would like to show your support for the Strasburg Borough Police Department. The department who generates the most donations by February 28th is presented with a plaque that is passed on from the previous year's winner to be displayed in the department. 

The Strasburg Borough Police Departments blood drive will be held on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026 at the SBPD (145 Precision Avenue) from 2:00pm-7:00pm.
