Notification from the Department of the Treasury/Internal Revenue Service

The United States Department of the Treasury/Internal Revenue Service has made the Borough aware that IRS field agents may be in the Borough to visit certain residents or businesses related to their federal taxes. The Borough has been informed that individuals or businesses will typically receive a letter in the mail informing them of an upcoming IRS visit and very few “cold calls” occur. This is a regional effort, and Millersville Borough is among many municipalities receiving this information.
