Rock Blasting – Village at Funks Farm

Between March 20th and the end of May, 2026, DH Funk and Sons LLC will be performing rock blasting at the Village at Funk’s Farm project in Manor Township, bordering Millersville Borough.

Residents near the project site may hear 2-3 shots per week until the work is completed. All rock blasting will occur between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Saturday. Immediately before and during the blast (approximately 2-3 minutes), traffic on South Duke Street and/or Walnut Hill Road will be stopped, and then immediately reopened.

Blasts will be controlled with blasting mats or sufficient nature earth overburden.
