On Thursday February 11, 2021 at approximately 1250 hrs. Officers from Lancaster Bureau of Police, Platoon C, responded to the area of the 1st blk. W. Orange St. A caller to 911 told dispatchers that there was a male with a gun shot wound to his arm. The caller also said that the male stated that the shooting occurred somewhere on Beaver St.
Before Officers arrived on W. Orange St. the male got into a private vehicle and was transported to the hospital. Other Officers diverted to the hospital to meet with the male. Based on information provided by the 22 year old victim, the scene was narrowed to a residence on the 300 blk. Beaver St.
Officers responded to that location and continued the investigation. Detectives responded to the hospital in an attempt to gather additional details from the victim. The victim's injury, a gun shot wound to the left shoulder, does not appear to be life threatening.
