OCCURRED 3/30/2020 1712 HRS
Security at LGH was alerted that an adult male with a gunshot wound to the leg was sitting on a bench near the intersection of N. Duke St. & E. James St. The male was taken in to the hospital for treatment. The victim was uncooperative with police. No scene was located. It is unknown if the incident occurred in Lancaster City. Investigation continues.

Reporting person / victim stated that a package was delivered to the lilsted location on March 29, 2020 at 0952 hrs. She went to get the package on March 30, 2020 but package was gone. The victim believes that sometime between the above listed dates and times an unknown suspect(s) stole the package from her porch.

Reporting person / victim stated she was told that her ex-husband was making threats about doing bodily harm to her. Officers advised the victim of the PFA process in the event that she was fearful that he may act on the threat.

Officers recovered a 2002, red Honda Accord reported stolen through Lancaster City on 3 April 2020.. The vehicle was found parked at curbside on the east side of the 300 block of Stevens Avenue. The vehicle had sustained damage to the rear view mirror.

ASSAULT
500 BLK. DAUPHIN ST.
OCCURRED 4/4/2020 1900 HRS.
Officers from Platoon B responded after a call for a disturbance involving possible threats. Upon arrival Officers located Jose Torres M/48 of 500 blk. Dauphin St. Torres was visibly intoxicated and was eventually taken into custody for Public Drunkenness. Further investigation revealed that Torres had been involved in a physical altercation with a neighbor, later identified as Angel Rodriguez M/58 500 blk. Dauphin St. Officers summoned EMS to the station to check on Torres but he declined to be treated. Torres was cited with Public Drunkenness.
A video had been posted to a social media platform that depicted some of that encounter.After viewing the video, the Officers returned to Dauphin St. and spoke with Rodriguez. As a result of the investigation Rodriguez will be charged with (1) Count Simple Assault (M2). A summons will be sent to Rodriguez.
