25 S QUEEN ST / THE MARRIOTT

OCCURRED 1/29/2017 BETWEEN 0100 HRS AND 0111 HRS

Reporting person stated that her was on the elevator returning to his room after attending a wedding when the elevator stopped on the 14^th floor.  The victim explained to the suspect who was attempting to go down that the elevator was going up.  The suspect became upset at what the victim said and threw his drink at him.  The two men became involved in a physical altercation in which causing the victim injury.   The suspect was an unknown white male, approximately 5’10”, thin build, short dark hair, wearing jeans and possibly a blue shirt with a roll behind luggage bag.

515 PARK CITY CENTER / YANKEE CANDLE

OCCURRED 1/30/2017 BETWEEN 1928 HRS AND 1934 HRS

Reporting person / victim stated that while she was speaking with one suspect / customer  the second suspect entered that back room of the listed location and removed two credit cards from her purse.  Later the victim began receiving text messages fraud alerts on her cell phone from one of the credit card companies.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT / GUN

600 BLK HAMILTON ST

OCCURRED 1/30/2017 2236 HRS

Victim stated that he had been walking from his house to another location when he was approached by a dark colored vehicle with an unknown male suspect  approximately  5’11”, wearing a black ski mask. The Susupect  exited the vehicle, displayed a black handgun and pointed it at the victim.  The suspect told the victim to give him everything and the victim complied with the request. The victim reportedly tried to grab the gun and wrestled with the suspect. The gun went off hitting the victim in the lower leg.  The suspect got back into the vehicle and sped off traveling west on Hamilton Street. The victim, a 17 resident of Lancaster City, said he flagged down a passing motorist and got a ride to a local hospital. No further suspect information was made available by the victim. No arrests have been made. The victim is expected to recover from the injury received. The investigation into this incident continues.
