Victim reported that between 1645hrs (1/5/2021) and 0630hrs (1/6/2021) unknown person(s) entered a construction site located at listed location, by shattering a glass door window located along the west side of the building. This doors window was shattered by a nearby brick found just inside the doorway. While inside unknown person(s) stole several Dewalt 20 volt power tools and spools of copper wirings. Officers later located Merklinger and the bike in the 200 block of East Marion Street, Lancaster. Merklinger was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking.

Reporting person / victim stated that a Hispanic male, approximately 6 feet tall, medium build, short black hair, black coat and hat and dark mask who had assaulted her prior to this incident had been following her. He followed her to where she was working and as she was leaving he attempted to grab her telling her he wanted to speak to her. The victim became frightened she was able to break free and ran to her home.

The VICTIM stated that Straub pulled out a switch blade knife during the dispute and made several stabbing motions towards him/her. In that moment, the VICTIM was put in fear of serious bodily injury. Kelci Alexis Straub, 25 of the 800 block of Columbia Ave charged with Simple Assault/Physical.

The vehicle was unlocked and running with the keys in the ignition at the time of the theft. The reported person was cited for City Ordinance violation of Leaving Key in Lock.

Reporting person stated that he had received a call from a suspicious number claiming to be a doctor and giving a prescription for a controlled substance. After the reporting person checked the number and it came back to a Telemarketing company. Later a male suspect came to pick up the prescription. When asked for his ID and insurance card the suspect left saying he didn’t know he needed his ID. The suspect waiting outside the location for several minutes and took off.

The victim was struck in the back of the head with a closed fist. Both Robertson and Paul were charged with Harassment.
