OCCURRED 10/06/16 1236HRS

Unknown black or Hispanic male wearing a black with red lettering Jerry Rice jersey stole a wallet that was left on the counter of the Family Dollar.  Reported person stated that the wallet was left on the counter after they walked out.   When they returned the wallet was missing.

Reported person stated that his Red 1999 Honda was parked unlocked overnight at listed location when unknown person(s) stole his black wallet from the driver’s door pocket.

OCCURRED ON  10/07/2016 BETWEEIN 0815 HRS AND 0820 HRS

Reporting person / victim stated an unknown suspect(s) had stolen her gray 2000 Ford Taurus, PA/JXP5556, from the alley where she parked it.    The victim left her vehicle unattended with the keys inside in the alley way while she went inside her residence.  When she came out the vehicle was gone.

Reporting person / victim stated that between listed times unknown suspect(s) entered the locked listed vehicle, pried open the center dash console removed the vehicle's stereo with CD player.

OCCURRED 10/7/2016 1227 HRS

Reporting person stated that an unknown white male, 20-25 years of age, between 5’5” and 5’8”, thin, medium length hair and light complexion entered the listed location concealed a box of men's cologne and exited the store without paying for the merchandise.

OCCURRED 10/8/2016

Complainant reported hearing  gun shots.  Responding officers located damage to several vehicles and shell casings near the intersection of Hazel St and Laurel.   Ongoing investigation.

600 PARK CITY CENTER / BON TON DEPARTMENT STORE

OCCURRED 10/8/2016 1651 HRS

James S Wenger, 29, of the 1st block South Maple Street, Ephrata PA was arrested and charged with Retail  Theft when he concealed two shirts on his person and left the listed location without paying for the items.

800 PARK CITY CENTER / BOSCOVS

OCCURRED 10/8/2016 BETWEEN 1208 HRS AND 10309 HRS

Rosa Guevara, 57, of the 100 block East New Street, Lancaster PA was observed by store loss prevention selecting merchandise, removing tags and placing the items in either her purse or shopping bag she was carrying.  Guevara made no attempt to pay for the merchandise when she left the store.  Guevara was charged with Retail Theft M-1.

OCCURRED 10/8/2016 BETWEEN 0830 HRS AND 2010 HRS

Reporting person / victim stated that he parked his bicycle on the west side of the train station locking it up to a bicycle rack.  Victim stated that sometime between the above listed date and times an unknown suspect(s) stole his bicycle for when he returned the bicycle was gone.

SIMPLE ASSAULT DV

200 BLK CHURCH ST

OCCURRED 10/8/2016 0050 HRS

Reporting person / victim stated that she was with her intoxicated boyfriend in a moving vehicle when he became angry an began to physically assault her punching her numerous times in the face.  When the vehicle came to a stopped he dragged her out of the vehicle  and across the ground.  The victim sustained injuries to her body and facial areas.  Police were unable to located the boyfriend, identified as Romel Sepulveda W-H/M/20, as he fled when 911 was called. Off. Davis charged Sepulveda with Simple Assault (Domestic Violence).

OCCURRED 10/09/2016 BETWEEN 2200 HRS AND 2245 HRS

Reporting person / victim stated that between the above listed date and times an unknown suspect(s) stole his black backpack containing his dog’s medications which he left unsupervised at the listed location.

OCCURRED 10/09/2016  BETWEEN 2130 HRS AND 2300 HRS

Reporting person stated that between 2130 and 2300 hrs. this date, unknown suspect(s) stole a $60 three foot pre-lit artificial Christmas tree from the front porch.

700 BLK. MANOR ST. & FOURTH ST.

OCCURRED 10/09/2016 2124 HRS.

Officers from Platoon B reponded to the area of Manor St. and Fourth St. for a report of shots fired. No suspects, victims or damage was located. Officers found (4) spent shell casing. The casings were collected as evidence. Investigation continues.

SHOTS FIRED

300 BLK. HAND AVE. 

OCCURRED 10/10/2016 0028 HRS.

Officers from Platoon B responded to the area of Hand Ave. and N. Plum St. for reports of shots fired. No suspects, victims or damage was found. Officers loacted (3) different caliber shell casings. Officers also located a .22 caliber revolver that had been left on the sidewalk on 300 blk. Hand Ave. The found items were collected as evidence. Investigation continues.
