Loss Prevention Officer reported she observed three subjects selecting merchandise, placing it in their purses and exiting the store passing all points of sale without paying for the merchandise. Loss Prevention Officer asked the three subjects to wait with her until the police arrived. All three subjects admitted to the thefts and returned the stolen merchandise to the Loss Prevention Officer. Responding Officer charged Malaysia Stevens, W/F/H, 18, of N Franklin St, Lancaster PA and two juveniles each with Retail Theft before MDJ Sponaugle.

Reporting Person / Victim reported a theft of a money order from her mailbox at the listed address between the listed dates and times. Victim was mailing the money order to pay her rent. Victim reported she believed she had forgotten to fill in the “Pay to the Order of” portion of the money order. When victim received a text from her landlord informing her, he had not received her rent check, she followed up with her bank and obtained a copy of the cashed money order. Victim discovered the money order had been filled out and cashed by someone unknown to her. Investigation ongoing.

Police responded to the listed location at the listed time for a report of Terroristic Threats. Reporting Person /Victim stated they had received a call from an unknown number and began sexting this number. After a few messages were sent back and forth, the unknown number sent the victim a message stating they had to pay money to avoid his family being hurt. The unknown number then sent multiple pictures of dead bodies. Police advised the victim to block the number and avoid further communication with the unknown contact.

Reporting person/victim stated that his black in color smartphone was taken from the address on 4 Jan 2020 between 2000-2115 hours. He allowed the suspect to use his bathroom at the listed location. The suspect on the way out then grabbed his phone and fled with it out the front door. By the time he got outside the suspect was nowhere to be found. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, approx. 20 y/o, tall and thin build, with a blue or black backpack, beard with mustache, black hoodie and a baseball style hat.

Reporting persons stated that as they were exciting their vehicle in the 700 block of S Franklin St they observed three suspects walking east bound on Schuylkill St towards S Franklin St. Reporting person stated that one of the suspects removed a handgun and fired one shot towards the ground in their direction. After firing the gun the three suspects began running eastbound on Almanac Ave. Officer located a shell casing lying on Almanac Ave just east of S Franklin St. Investigation ongoing.

Folk was found to have an active arrest warrant through Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office. Folk was taken into custody and transported to the Lancaster City Police Department. Officers located 5 grams of marijuana while parking the vehicle. Folk was also charged with Possession of Marijuana

Police responded to a report of retail theft at the listed location on the listed date and time. The reporting person / Asset Protection Agent stated he witnessed an unknown male enter the store and select a box of Just For Men from a sales rack. The Agent observed the suspect retrieving papers from his jacket pocket, enclosing the merchandise within the papers to conceal the item and leaving the store passing all points of sale without paying for the merchandise. The Agent stopped the suspect, recovered the merchandise and called the police. The suspect was identified as Darryl Henderson, 55, B/M/N, Manor Street, Lancaster, PA. Henderson was charged with Retail Theft before MDJ 02-2-04 and served with a Trespass Notice not allowing him to return to the store.

When Officers arrived the Suspect was observed sheltering behind a trash can underneath a pavilion in the act of sticking a hypodermic needle into his right arm. Suspect did drop the said needle on the ground that was filled with a brown liquid and had 3 empty blue in color was sleeves next to the needle.
