Missing 11 year old - Located Sunday 11/10/2019

On Sunday November 10, 2019 Officers from Platoon D received information that Thompson was likely to be found at a friend's home on the 500 blk. S. Duke St. Officers responded and spoke with the occupants. Thompson was located and was fine. Thompson told his friend and the friend's parents that he had permission to stay the weekend. The parents were unaware that Thompson did not have permission to stay and were not aware that he had been reported as missing. 

Thompson was returned to his home.

The Lancaster City Bureau of Police are investigating a missing person case involving an 11 year old boy, who was last seen by his father at around 6:00 pm on Friday evening, November 8, 2019.  Jayden Thompson was last seen at his home in the 400 block of S. Shippen Street, in lancaster City.  Thompson is described as being approximately 4’8” inches tall, about 75 lbs. and has light skin.  He has a short crew cut now.   Thompson was reported missing this morning after he didn’t return home.

investigators have been trying to locate Thompson since he was reported missing and there is no indication of foul play at this point, but the investigation is continuing.  Thompson has reportedly been in contact with at least one friend.   Investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating Thompson.
