Around 10 PM on Wednesday, February 8th, 2023, Officer Reppert observed a group of three individuals on Pershing Ave matching the description of suspects involved in a shots fired incident that occurred earlier that day.

The individuals briefly disappeared until Officer Reppert was able to locate them again on East End Ave. The group then separated and fled but thanks to the strong foot pursuit led by the B Platoon officers, two of the subjects were apprehended that night.

One was arrested with a ghost gun in their possession, and the other was caught soon after discarding a firearm while in view of surrounding officers.  Both were juveniles, charged with Violation of the Uniform Firearms Act and other related offenses, and detained at Lancaster’s Youth Intervention Center.
