At approximately 0900 hours, 13 Sep. 23 Lancaster City Police School Resource Officers became aware of a student posing with a handgun in a picture sent to other students. It was quickly determined that the photograph was taken in a restroom of McCaskey East High School. Based on a coordinated, thorough and precise investigation the firearm was recovered and multiple arrests were made. There is are no additional safety concerns regarding this incident at this time. No students, staff and officers were harmed and it was peacefully resolved.
