On February 17, 2026, at 7:48 PM, Officers from the Lancaster City Bureau of Police responded to the 600 block of E. Mifflin St., Lancaster City, for a report of a shooting.  Upon arrival, Officers located a victim suffering from apparent gunshot-related injuries.  The victim was transported to a local medical facility for treatment.

  Detectives are actively working on the investigation and at this point, the Bureau of Police does not believe there is any danger to the public.  If anyone has any information regarding this incident, contact the Lancaster City Bureau of Police at 717-735-3300.  Persons with information may choose to remain anonymous.
