On August 30th 2022 at approximately 8:20 pm unidentified suspects stole an S Dream T350 electric bicycle from the front porch of a residence. The bicycle is described as being black and gray in color with an orange stripe. The attached image was taken of the suspects in this incident. Any persons with knowledge of the identity of the persons or the whereabouts of this bicycle are asked to call the Lancaster City Bureau of Police at 717 735-3301. Ask for Detective Adam Dommel or a working investigator. We rely on help from this great community to solve crimes such as this.
The Lancaster City Bureau of Police still maintains a bicycle registry. For $1.00 you can have your bicycle registered in our database. The registry includes a sticker that is clearly visible to potential thieves. By registering your bicycle, the serial number is documented and in the event that a theft occurs, the property can be entered into the National Crime Information Center as stolen property. This allows for a much greater chance of a successful prosecution in the event of a theft. To register your bicycle you must physically bring it to the Police Station at 39 W. Chestnut St. Lancaster, PA 17603 to speak with an officer or Community Service Aid who can assist you with the registry process.
