2508010237 Shooting 500 block S. Pearl St. 

At approximately 2:57 am on Saturday, August 9, 2025, officers from the Lancaster City Bureau of Police were dispatched to a residence on the 500 block of S. Pearl St. for a reported shooting. On arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers rendered immediate aid to the victim before being transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The scene has been cleared, and the investigation is still ongoing. 

2508010241 Shooting 600 block of Saint Joseph St. 

While officers were still responding to the first incident, just after 3:00 am, a second shooting was reported in the area of the 600 block of Saint Joseph St. An adult female victim was located at a nearby residence with an apparent gunshot wound. Officers provided aid to the victim before the arrival of emergency medical services. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. The investigation is ongoing at this time. 

While the two incidents occurred just minutes apart, it does not appear at this time that the two assaults are related. We do not believe there is any elevated risk to the public at this time.
