On July 27, 2026, at approximately 7:37 p.m. an officer with the Lancaster City Bureau of Police was flagged down regarding a reported crash in the 400 block of S. Prince Street. Officers arrived on scene to find a car had struck a juvenile riding an electric bicycle.

The juvenile sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
