On March 20, 2026, around 3:30 pm, Lancaster City police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Green St and S Plum St. According to witnesses, around four teenage males were running through the area with ski masks on. As officers surveyed the scene, they located shell casings on S Plum St.
Efrain Torres-Ramos was arrested on March 26, 2025, in connection with this incident, with assistance from the Lancaster County SERT team. Torres-Ramos has been charged with (1) one count of persons not to possess firearms (F2), (1) one count of firearms not to be carried without a license (F3), (1) one count of aggravated assault (F1), (1) one count of recklessly endangering another person (M2), and other related offenses.
