On October 17, 2025, around 5 pm, Lancaster City police officers responded to a reported shooting in the area of 500 W King St. When officers arrived on scene, they located Greaves with a non-lethal gunshot wound, which was treated at the hospital.

Jahquon Greaves was arrested on March 25, 2025, in connection with this incident with assistance from the Lancaster County SERT team and US Marshals. Jahquon Greaves has been charged with the following: (1) count of attempted aggravated assault (F2), (1) count of attempted aggravated assault with deadly weapon (F2), (1) count of firearms not to be carried without a license (F3), (2) counts of discharging firearm into an occupied structure (F3), (8) counts of reckless endangerment (M2) and (1) count of tampering with evidence (M2).
