UPDATE:

At approximately 6:42 a.m., East Lampeter Township Police were dispatched to a vehicle accident near the intersection of Creek Hill Rd and Hartman Station Rd. Through investigation, it was determined a pickup truck being operated by the sole occupant (63 year old male from Lancaster) was traveling eastbound on Creek Hill Rd. crossed over the oncoming lane and struck a tree on the north side of the road. The Lancaster County Coroner's Office responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased and took custody of the body. This is an on-going investigation, anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact the East Lampeter Township Police at (717) 291-4676.  The roadway has been reopened.  

Please avoid the area around Creek Hill Rd. and Hartman Station Rd. due to a traffic crash in that area. Fire Police have the roadways shut down at Hornig Rd. & Route 23, Hornig Rd. & Creek Hill Rd., Geist Rd. & Hartman Station Rd. and Geist Rd. and Creek Hill Rd.
