Aggressive Driving – Traffic Enforcement Details

Speeding and other aggressive driving behaviors are among the leading factors of highway crashes and fatalities in PA.  Take Care, Slow Down, Be Patient, Be Kind and help keep our roadways safe!  Now, thru August 21^st, East Lampeter Township Police will be monitoring traffic looking specifically for aggressive drivers.  Violators should expect to be cited.

Why are we announcing this?  Hopefully by getting the word out, drivers will be more alert not only for police but for other drivers, and, be more forgiving of mistakes, less likely to drive aggressively and/or respond aggressively.  And practicing positive behavior helps to develop positive (and safer) habits!  Drive like your family is at stake…
