On 5/6/15, ELTPD responded to the 300 blk of Snakehill Road for a burglary and theft that just occurred fifteen minutes prior.    It was reported to arriving officers that the property owner had observed a White male walking from an unoccupied business shop on the property.      The owner confronted the male who explained that he had been walking by and went into the shop to get out of the rain.   The male then walked to a small white car that was waiting for him.  The property owner checked the shop and found that a desk had been rifled through.   Three books of business checks were discovered to have been stolen from the desk.   Anyone with information is asked to submit a tip or contact ELTPD at (717) 291-4676.
