On 6/6/2020 at approximately 5:20 p.m., an officer observed the pictured motorcycle in the 2400 block of Old Philadelphia Pike without a registration plate displayed.  The officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop with the motorcycle but it failed to yield and fled at a high rate of speed west towards Lancaster. The officer terminated the pursuit after a brief chase due to the motorcyclist (pictured) passing numerous vehicles in a reckless manner and blatant disregard for safety of the general public.  Police are requesting assistance in identifying the motorcycle and operator.  Motorcycles are a great source of transportation when operated appropriately.  Operators/drivers who don't consider children playing, other motorist or animals that may enter the roadway should be held accountable for their actions.  Anyone with information is requested to contact Ofc.
