At 9:58 pm, Monday, 9/14/15, ELTPD received a general threat specific to the High School on a tip line.   ELTPD coordinated with Conestoga Valley School officials on security measures and increase police presence throughout the District.   Anyone with information should contact East Lampeter Twp Police at (717) 291-4676.  

At 8:52 pm, Friday, 9/11/15, ELTPD received an anonymous tip that a bomb will be placed at Smoketown Elementary School, 2426 Old Philadelphia Pike.    The facility was physically searched in conjunction with Conestoga Valley School District personnel and PA State Police bomb dogs.   Security was increased at all Conestoga Valley School District facilities and normal operations were resumed on Monday 9/14 with an increased police presence.   Anyone with information should submit a tip or contact East Lampeter Twp Police Detective Sergeant Brian Cloonan at (717) 291-4676.
