On 8/20/15, ELTPD Detectives served felony arrest warrants on Paul Reyes SANDS, age 38, and Michelle Alison HESLER, age 30, both of Paradise, for two home invasion style robberies of a 75 year old male victim at a residence in the 300 blk of Snakehill Rd. Leola.   On Saturday, 8/8/15, SANDS and HESLER entered the residence through an unlocked door armed with a baseball bat.   The suspects threatened the victim and demanded money.   The suspects stole a television, telephone and cash from the victim.     On Friday, 8/14/15, SANDS and HESLER returned to the residence and forced their way into the residence when the victim unknowingly unlocked the door.    The suspects again threatened and demanded money from the victim.    The suspects stole a new replacement television that the victim had just bought.    Investigation by ELTPD Detective Chris Jones identified the suspects and determined that they had specifically targeted the victim.   Det Jones charged both suspects with two counts of Robbery (F-1) and two counts of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery (F-1).    SANDS and HESLER were arraigned before MDJ B. Denise Commins and committed to Lancaster Co. Prison.

At 3:05 pm, Saturday, 8/8/15, ELTPD, responded to a report of a home invasion robbery that had just occurred at a residence in the 300 blk of Snakehill. Road.  The victim, who is an elderly male, reported to arriving officers that a White female and a Hispanic male, armed with a baseball bat, entered his residence and demanded money.   The suspects stole electronics and cash from the victim.  The suspects were described as a short White female, age 30-35, with shoulder length brown hair, wearing a pink dress, and a Hispanic male, 30-39 years of age, thin build, 6-00 in height, wearing a white tank top T-shirt and blue jeans.    Victim was not injured during the incident.   Initial investigation indicates that the victim was targeted and that the incident was not a random act.   Anyone with information is asked to submit a tip or contact ELTPD Detective Chris Jones at (717) 291-4676.
