  At approximately 3:05 a.m., police were dispatched to the Scottish Inn (2641 Lincoln Highway East) for a cardiac arrest.  Upon arrival, police located a female who was unresponsive in a hotel room as a result of suspected drug use.  Officer’s administered Narcan and assisted with care until EMS arrived and took over.  The female regained consciousness and was transported to a hospital for further evaluation. 

  At approximately 10:28 a.m., police were dispatched to the Econo Lodge Inn (2165 Lincoln Highway East) for an overdose.  Upon arrival, police located a male who was unresponsive in a hotel room as a result of suspected drug use.  Officer’s administered Narcan and assisted with care until EMS arrived and took over.  The male regained consciousness and was transported to a hospital for further evaluation. 

  Police investigated an incident in which a victim lost $30,000 through a fraudulent scheme.  The victim was contacted through email by a person using the name “Thomas Baker” saying they won $1,000,000.  The victim was instructed to send him money in order to release the funds.  The victim complied and lost approximately $30,000 as a result of this scheme.  Please be aware of similar schemes; never send money, gift cards or provide account information over the internet or phone to unknown people.
