   At approximately 9:45 a.m., a police officer observed Christopher Johnson (30 year old / black male / Lancaster) standing at the intersection of Lincoln Highway East and Oakview Rd. soliciting.  Soliciting within East Lampeter Township requires a permit.  The officer recognized the male from a similar incident in January during which time Christopher Johnson provided false information about his identity due to a warrant.  An warrant was issued for Christopher Johnson’s arrest as a result of that incident.  Christopher Johnson was taken into custody at which time he was found to be in possession of synthetic marijuana, and paraphernalia.   Christopher Johnson was arrested for the soliciting violation, possession of controlled substances and paraphernalia.  Johnson remanded to prison due to not being able to post $1,000 bail.

   At approximately 3:55 p.m., a police officer initiated a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Lincoln Highway East for a vehicle code violation.  Upon making contact with the driver (Leann Stewart / 33 year old / white female / Airville, PA) and front seat passenger (Charles Stewart / 38 year old / white male / Airville, PA) the officer detected the odor of marijuana.  A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and paraphernalia.  Leann and Charles arrested for said offenses.
