Police Blotter:

6/4/2020

• Drug Charge:  At approximately 5:53 p.m., police were dispatched to the Scottish Inn (2641 Lincoln Highway East) for a guest refusing to leave the motel after smoking drugs inside a room.  Upon arrival, police made contact with Clifford Homer (52 year old / white male / 100 block S. 5^th Ave. Coatesville).  The room Clifford Homer was staying in smelled of burnt marijuana.  A search of the room revealed a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.  Clifford Homer charged with said offenses.

• Drug Charge:  At approximately 1:15 p.m., police were dispatched to the parking lot of Walmart (2034 Lincoln Highway East) to check on the welfare of a male.  Police made contact with the male (Gene Engle / 58 year old / white male / homeless) who had been huffing from aerosol canisters.  Gene Engle was transported to a hospital for treatment.  Gene Engle charged with said offense.

• Theft of package:  The victim advised on May 27^th, she had an Amazon package shipped to her address (00 block N. Soudersburg Rd. Gordonville).  When she went to retrieve the package it was missing / stolen.

• DUI Accident:  At approximately 5:18 p.m., police were dispatched to the parking lot of Wawa 2132 Lincoln Highway East) for an accident.  Upon arrival, police made contact with Laurie Truluck (66 year old / white female / 400 block Greenland Dr.) who denied striking a parked vehicle (although it was occupied and damage was present).  Laurie Truluck exhibited signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests.  Laurie Truluck was arrested for DUI and transported to ELTPD where she provided a breath sample indicating her BAC was 0.221 %.  Laurie Truluck arrested for said offense.

• Animal Neglect:  At approximately 1:45, police were dispatched to the parking lot of Sharp Shopper (340 W. Main St. Leola) for an animal complaint.  Upon arrival, police were directed to a pick-up truck with a cap on the bed.  Inside the bed of the truck was a dog crate that had (2) Shih Tzu dogs inside of it.  The cap was completely enclosed and all windows were shut.  Due to the temperature and amount of time the dogs were unattended and without water, the dog owner (Lynn Eisenhauer / 63 year old / white male / 100 block Pinetown Rd.) was cited with animal neglect.

• Drug Charge:  At approximately 2:21 p.m., police were dispatched to the Red Roof Inn (2307 Lincoln Highway East) for a male acting strange.  Upon arrival, police located Daniel Dambrosio (34 year old / white male / 100 block S. Prince St. Lancaster) who appeared under the influence of a substance.  A search of Daniel Dambrosio revealed he was in possession of (6) bags of heroin.  Daniel Dambrosio was transported to a hospital for treatment.  Daniel Dambrosio to be charged with public drunkenness and possession of heroin.
