6/1/2020

  • Drug offense:  At approximately 9:00 a.m., police initiated a traffic stop in the parking lot of McDonalds (2090 Lincoln Highway East) for a vehicle code violation.  Upon making contact with the driver (Todd Sherer / 22 year old / white male / 900 block N. George St York) the officer detected the odor of marijuana.  A search revealed a smoking pipe with marijuana residue.  Todd Sherer arrested for said offense.

  • Lost Dog:  It was reported a female Shetland Sheep dog is missing from the 2700 block of Creek Hill  Rd.

  • Overdose:  At approximately 4:37 p.m., police were dispatched to Walmart for an overdose.  Upon arrival, police located a 55 year old male from Reading who was semi-conscious on the floor of the mens bathroom.  The male admitted to injesting heroin.

  • Criminal Mischief:  Sometime over the night of 5/31/2020 – 6/1/2020 someone keyed the victim’s vehicle while it was parked in the 400 block of Greenland Dr. 
  •  
  • Terrorist Threats:  At approximately 6:41 p.m., police were dispatched to the 400 block of Brendon Dr. for a threats call.  The victim advised the suspect (Stacia Salada / 45 year old / white female / 400 block W. Cedar St. New Holland) sent her several threatening text messages about physical harm.

6/2/2020

  • Harassment:  At approximately 4:52 p.m., police were dispatched to Walmart for a fight.  The victim advised she was inside Walmart with her children when she was approached by the suspect (Stephanie Stoops / 29 year old / white female / 400 block Union St. Columbia).  A confrontation occurred during which time Stephanie Stoops pulled the victim’s hair and struck her with a closed fist several times.  Stephanie Stoops cited with harassment.

6/3/2020

  • Fire:  At approximately 10:21 a.m., an ELTPD officer observed thick smoke in the area of Monterey Rd.  As he responded to that location, police were dispatched to a trash fire.  Upon arriving at 248 Monterey Rd. (E G Woodcraft) police observed an active fire.  It was reported a stack of pallets were on fire which spread to a building.  The fire destroyed (2) barns and damaged the residence on the property.

  • Drug offense:  At approximately 3:55 p.m., police were dispatched to the Olde Amish Inn (33 Eastbrook Rd.).  Upon arrival, police learned Fugitive Recovery Agents were attempting to locate Delilah Hernandez (23 year old / Hispanic female / 600 block Columbia Ave. Lancaster) to serve a warrant.  Delilah Hernandez jumped out a second story window attempting to flee.  Delilah Hernandez injured herself requiring EMS to respond to transport her to a hospital.  Delilah Hernandez was found to be in possession of a smoking pipe.  Delilah Hernandez charged with said offense.
