On 8/19/2019 at approximately 12:07 a.m., police were dispatched for a hit and run vehicle accident that occurred in the 1700 block of Lincoln Highway East.  Upon arrival, police located 5 Amish teens that were thrown from a horse drawn carriage.  The carriage had been traveling westbound and was struck from behind by a vehicle that fled the scene.  Front bumper debris left at the accident scene assisted police in identifying the striking vehicle as a white / light colored 2013-2015 Mitsubishi ASX Outlander Sport (SUV).  **The attached pictures are not the actual vehicle.** One of the teens was seriously injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment.  The carriage was being pulled by two horses of which one died.  It is believed the striking vehicle continued traveling westbound towards Lancaster City. **Update:  Vehicle of interest has been located thanks to assistance of WGAL.  The crash is still under investigation including the circumstances of how this vehicle was involved.  Information will be updated.**
